B&B Theatres

Henderson Engineers provided building systems services for two types of design for B&B Theatres, a national entertainment provider, throughout the Midwest.

The first design consists of approximately 16,000 SF, six-screen theaters and includes a concession area, mezzanine level with projection booths, stadium-style seating, and business offices. The second design consists of approximately 35,000-60,000 SF, 12-screen megaplexes that include a concession area, mezzanine level with projection booths, stadium-style seating, business offices, full kitchen service, dining area, and bars.

Major components of these projects include variable volume rooftop units with fan-powered base, recirculating domestic hot water systems, special plumbing fixtures, specialty lighting, emergency lighting with inverters, elevator, fire alarm system, fire sprinkler specifications, kitchen equipment coordination, and data/security system provisions.
